Supernatural practices has turned very popular nowadays. Witchcraft is one of such practices and relatively young religious belief, which has became very popular in the US and Europe. The religious belief incorporated views of distinct customs, from Celtic magic to Indian yoga. And it’s not surprise to see computer software to do and create Witchcraft rites and cast magic spells. Though wicca spells and descriptions of witchcraft rituals are widespread in web and offline media, this software program claims to be assistant of wizard, rather than collection of spells and potion recipes.
Author does not claim eWicca to produce supernatural results, positing ” magic is the sphere of activities of human, but not of computers or machinery”. This is leastwise honest, since most vendors, marketing wicca spells or spell casting services, claim incredible effects. eWicca is positioned as all-in-one software package which serves to create working wicca rites. Lets review such phrases as “all-in-one” and “working rituals”
“All-in-one” means, you do not require extra coaching or assistance, doing rituals. This is as a matter of fact true, because eWicca incorporates so-called “ceremonies” to prepare for ” rites ” and wicca rites themselves. I do not understand the rationale behind differentiation of terms “ceremonies” and “rituals”, but since author has account for this, let it be. Ceremonies are combination of self-hypnosis and meditation, accompanied by on-screen instructions, funny video recording and unusual music. Author claims video recording and music to have special effects to ameliorate effectiveness of ritual, and it appears to be true. I started to experience uncommon feelings after executing one of ceremonies. There’s a range of ceremonies to make before the actual ritual, so I think, such extreme preparation may really be good.
Wicca rites are what people may seek: rituals for successfulness, passion, health, etc. I do not think, author included enough rituals, but he assures free updates. I tested one self healing ritual, and may state, it worked out; fortunately it was merely headache, and I do not wish to use the rite for something problematic. What is intriguing, author does not discourage users to continue regular health treatment, leaving conclusion for you. I guess, well devoted wiccan may overcome any disease; but I do not know real life exemplars of this.
“Working rituals” should mean they work. As authors explained in manual, he implemented everything in eWicca, to make rituals working and the rest depend on user’s dedication. If I consider self-healing ritual, I would say rites really work. I will try as well money ritual.
Interface eWicca is quite simple, even primitive; I would prefer more comprehensive design. Notwithstanding I presume eWicca was made for beginner users, and such simplicity is reasonable. Author should add options to tune up levels of visual and audio stimulations and make option to select them. This applies also to book of shadows: single video and sound obviously are not enough. I would add also more such options to customise witchcraft spells, not just to add wizard name.
- eWicca pluses: everything you need to execute working witchcraft rite
- eWicca contras: primitive interface, no setup of video and audio stimulations
- Verdict: if your religious belief is wicca or you want to do witchcraft rituals or cast wicca spells, buy eWicca.
